I TOTALLY transformed my body post baby! Actually after all 3 of my girls. Even though I had been struggling with my weight since high school.
I lost weight, added muscle, lost fat, dropped dress sizes and toned my body!
How Can I lose Baby Weight Fast?
- Have a Plan
- Follow a PROVEN workout routine
- EAT – Learn the right amount of each food group you need to have daily
- Fuel your body with proper nutrients
- Keep it easy and simple to follow
Is it Harder to Lose Weight after having a Baby?
After baby #2, I was thinking, “I’m over 30 so I’m taunted by the fact that I’ve been told that your metabolism will slow down and it’s always harder to lose the baby weight the second time around.”
With all of that on my mind, I REFUSED to get discouraged because my pre-pregnancy jeans where calling my name!!!
I was determined to make this work and find time to workout. Unfortunately that “time” ended up being at 6:30am in the morning. I am NOT a morning person, however, this was the only time I could start to make sure I could/would do it! I knew if I waited until the girls woke up, the day would take us over and there would be other “more important” things to do.
Plus I wanted to be a good example to my kids! I want them to know that exercise is important to keep you healthy, it’s good for you, it can be fun, and that when you set a goal, with determination, you can reach it!


How long does it take to lose weight after having a baby?
This is what worked BEST for me!
- ChaLean Extreme workout program (I stream all of my workouts and that’s how I access this program.)
- Drank Shakeology daily (I love it for breakfast and gave me a good amount of protein for after my workout and it’s CHOCOLATE!)
- Followed the portion control food containers to make sure I was eating the right amount of food for each food group.
- Ate every 3-4 hours
ChaLean Extreme workout is:
- 90 day workout program
- 3 days of heavy weight lifting – 3 different weight lifting workouts each week, and those changed every month
- 2 days of cardio – one of those was intervals of light weights and cardio drills


I learned that building muscle is KEY for fat loss!
Women will not get bulky because we don’t have the hormones for that. Women will get toned and lean. Men will build size because of their hormones. They’ll get size mainly in the chest, shoulders and arms and their waist will slim down.
