“I’m pregnant, now what do I do with my workouts?!”
Ok, I’m not currently pregnant, but this is the question I hear from a lot of women once they become pregnant.  The picture is me at 8 months pregnant with my 2nd daughter.
First, you have to check with your OB-GYN doctor!
Usually the OB will tell you that you can continue doing whatever you were doing before you got pregnant.  Some doctors will give you a specific heart rate they want you to stay under others will not.
ALWAYS listen to your body.  You might not be able to do as much intensity/lift as heavy.  That’s ok!  Now is not the time to push yourself.
If you’re worried about your heart rate when you run, then do other cardio would be my suggestion. Maybe turn it into a jog/elliptical/aerobics.
I still lifted weights, but did lighter weight more reps.

When I was pregnant with both of my girls I did TurboJam, TurboFire, lifted weights, cardio drills.  I did low impact (no jumping).

I truly believe staying active during my pregnancy helped with my deliveries and losing weight after I was pregnant!
