YES! I truly believe continuing to workout while I was pregnant with Ellie helped tremendously when losing the baby weight. So this time around I’m going to be working out again. Now I definitely don’t lift as heavy of weights as I normally do and I take down my intensity level.
Here’s my schedule:
Tues – Stroller fit (cardio and resistance band work)
Wed – Turbofire (just no HIIT workouts), TurboJam, P90X Cardio, Rev Abs
Fri – weight lifting
Sat – fit club at church – Body Gospel, P90X, TurboFire, Rev Abs, Slim in 6, Power 90
Not overdoing it, but keeping active!! I’m also continuing to drink Shakeology while I’m pregnant and that’s helped out TONS 🙂
If you’re pregnant and want to work out, make sure you check with your physician first! Also, it’s recommended that you don’t do anything new once you’ve become pregnant. So if you’ve been working out regularly beforehand it’s usually ok to continue.
I’ll be posting a video of ab exercises to do while pregnant soon, so keep your eyes peeled for that!
